RETRO STYLE LAMP

My granddaughter's elementary school ( also where my daughter-in-law teaches ) had a silent auction. I bid on a lamp at the last minute and actually won! It's this amazing retro-style lamp! I LOVE it! I was able to give money to the school and in return got this lamp! The photos here don't even  do it justice. It's new but made in a retro style.

    Oh my gosh!!! I LOVE THAT LAMP!! It is tooo funny and cute and looks so "old"!! :) We didn't actually have one like that in our house when I was little, but some neighbors did! I love the antennaes on top! ...looks like the space ship for the "one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater..." :D

    I agree with Becky. When I first saw the lamp and then the antennae, I first thought of, "My Favorite Martian," and then "War of the Worlds."

    Okay...my word verification was 'beamo," like in "beam me up Scottie?"
