SCANDINAVIAN CHRISTMAS

I love the Scandinavian Christmas decor. I love the simplicity of it. Here are a few photos to show you what I'm talking about. If your decor is not Scandinavian, you can pick out some ideas to use anyway. I found these on Pinterest. Follow me on Pinterest by clicking the red button on the right sidebar. As I find more I'll add to these. ENJOY!

Scandinavian Vintage Decor

Do you have a Scandinavian heritage? Or maybe you just like the simplicity of the Scandinavian style where pale colors and white furniture reign. The color palettes common in the Scandinavian style may be due to wanting to lighten up the interior of their homes because of the the early dark days that they experience.

I live in Minnesota where many Scandinavians settled years ago and MY heritage is FULLY Scandinavian. I don't know if this influenced my own decorating style but I DO find that I like the simplicity and light colors in it. I'm going to be sharing with you this week some things I've found of  Scandinavian decor for your home and lifestyle. I found some beautiful photos of this simple, divine style in vintage decor that I thought I'd share with you here. I found them in House Beautiful.

Wouldn't you just love to move in here? Or maybe you'd just like to take a few ideas shown here and include them in the spaces of your OWN home. I think I could feel really at home and cozy here. What about you?
