RED VINTAGE TREASURES

I have a tickle in my brain. And it keeps making the corners of my mouth point towards the heavens.   Jeb Dickerson

I have a few "new" finds for you today. I purchased these last Fall. They will be all cleaned up and ready for you at our Memorial Day event. It SEEMS like a long way off but it will be here before you know it!

LINEN LOVERS... Here's a a lovely vintage table runner...unless I turn it into a pillow! This will be in our linen area. What would YOU rather have made out of this material.. a pillow or table runner? Or use your imagination and come up with your OWN creative idea!

This"very fun" large vintage tin would look great in MY kitchen but I'm going to let some other lucky person get it.  I have a hard time "letting go" of things I find but I can't keep EVERYTHING! What would YOU use this for?

And last, but not least, is this adorable old wooden caddy, painted red, with a rusty tin rooster on the side. The wood is old but the red paint gives it a bright fresh look! It has a few different compartments  to hold things so it could have many storage uses. Maybe silverware and napkins for your next casual buffet?

These fun and bright red treasures will be waiting to find a new home!

To see more items that will be for sale, go to my "fun finds" page just under the blog header.

  1. All are nice finds but my favorite is the table runner with the roses..It would be pretty both as a pillow and a runner,,,too bad you can't have both.

  2. What great finds. That floral pattern is so very lovely, no matter which way you use it - it'll be nice. All that red in your kitchen will surely pop.

  7. I think the rose fabric would look lovely on the table as a table runner. The red tin is exciting and would definitely brighten the kitchen. If it were mine, I would probably have to wait awhile until I decided what perfect treasure store in it.
