Eden

Hi, Friends!

One of the goals of my Hob Nobber business is to help organizations that reach out to women and children's ministries and to provide funds for women in poverty around the world build a business for themselves in order to make a living and move out of poverty. For 2009 I've selected Eden Ministries to give a percentage of the money made through Hob Nobbers.

My daughter, Elissa, and her husband, Jon, will be leaving to serve in China June 1st of this year . One of their plans is to work with Eden, an outreach to teen girls who have been forced into prostitution. The goal of Eden is to help them out of prostitution and move on to a better life. Elissa and Jon will be serving in other areas as well. To follow their time in China, follow their blog at jonandliss.blogspot.com.

Hi Sandy!! :) I started following your blog after I saw the box you made for the Amour Valentine's day swap! :) This is one of my favorite posts because you shared a picture of your daughter and son in law and linked us to their blog detailing their journey in China. What an awesome project they're participating in, and you as well!! It's wonderful to read about such giving souls because it inspires the rest of us to help out, too!
