FIVE FUN AND FABULOUS FINDS FRIDAY

Today I'm starting my  FIVE FUN AND FABULOUS FINDS FRIDAY. My Hob Nobbers business' tag line is" hob nobbing all over the country searching for treasures for YOU". This is what we do when we have our occasional sales three times a year. I get really excited finding things that I know our guests will all love! I started this blog to keep our "guests" informed of our upcoming sales and to share some of our "treasures" before they reach the BIG SALES EVENT.

But currently I'm not selling my treasures ONLINE so I decided to go" hob nobbing all over the INTERNET searching for treasures for you" that OTHER people have for sale. I'm looking for vintage and handmade treasures here on the internet. So check here on Friday for my FUN AND FABULOUS discoveries!

Today all the wonderful treasures are from different shops on  Etsy. Here they are:

Feminine and Girly Apron from OPULENT COTTAGE

This is a darling vintage looking apron for the crafter or gardener. It is short in length with pockets to  hold whatever is needed for your crafting or gardening needs. I LOVE this!  It looks durable but cute!

Vintage Dictionary Art from  Little Blue Birds Studio

This is an illustration from a vintage book that has been enlarged and printed onto a vintage dictionary page making it fun and unusual! There are other lovely similar illustrations available. Wouldn't this be adorable in a vintage frame? It would work in a den as well as a child's room. Great conversation piece as well as it makes use of two different vintage pieces of ephemera put together in a unique way.

Spotty Dotty Clothespin Peg Bag by STELMA DESIGNS

How cute is THIS? I remember growing up seeing clothespin bags but they kind of faded away. But now with everybody trying to save energy and the environment they're making a comeback! This is such a whimsical and fun bag who wouldn't love hanging clothes on the line with this darling bag nearby to make you smile!

Breakfast Bunny Pink Print by SARAH JANE STUDIOS

There were so many adorable prints, I had a hard time trying to decide which one to share here. You'll have to look at all of them yourself to find one YOU like the best. I can't resist cute children's prints especially when they have a vintage look as this one does here.  I do have grandchildren and a bedroom that they sleep in when they come which is very vintage and feminine  so I envisioned this in there. Simple and sweet, these prints would add sweetness to ANY home.

AND FINALLY....
Bliss Bracelet by BEADS STORY

This is an antiqued brass "branch" adorned with antique brass, vintage style heart locket, and a small flower. There were other pieces of similar jewelry but I picked THIS  one to show you as I really liked the lovely green coloring of the beads. This is so dainty and with that vintage look that we all love!

Well, those are my "picks" for this week! Let me know what you think of them! If you end up purchasing something from one of these shops, let me know! I'd love to see what you bought! Be sure to check them out! And, no, I'm not paid a commission. : )  I just like sharing fun things I've found.

Another reminder of my SUMMER SOIREE GIVE-AWAY. Check out the May 1 post for information and what you could win!

  6. Oops, Vera. I think we were posting at the same time! Anyway, to answer your question, you can just write in the "google" box the name of the shop ( listed under the photo ) and then add (dot)etsy(dot)com. I should have linked it but it was challenging enough just to get those photos up there. I'm still learning! I tried it again and it works. It's maybe not the quickest way... let me know if you find it. sandy

  9. HooBoy, Lisa, I thought a previous comment to you was published but apparently not. So the first line in the comment above probably sounded confusing.
