LIVING IN A HISTORICAL MANSION

One of the stone stairways leading  to the house.
Courtyard area.
Flowers towards the end of summer.
As many of you already know we have the privilege of living in a historical 49 room mansion. There are 11 acres of grounds that are filled with woods, flower gardens, ponds with fountains, stone stairways, a gazebo, a "repunzel-like" tower, and many little nooks and crannies. I wandered around the grounds the other day taking photos and thought I'd share some here with you.
Walkway leads to the courtyard.
One of two ponds in lower garden area.

Center of the circle drive in the front yard.

The three windows on the left above are some of our living room windows.

Second stone path and stairway leading to house on top.

My favorite flowers.
