Vicki at 2 Bags Full is hosting a blog party for bloggers to get to know one another and grow their blog. Go here to find interesting blogs to read! There are about 400 blogs signed up and most are offering Give-Aways! My Give-Away prize will be posted later this week! So check back! In the meantime... sign up to WIN! I promise the GIVE-AWAY PRIZE will be worth your while! HINT: It will be vintage related! You must sign up on THIS POST to be entered. Give-Away ends on Feb 1st.
So here's MY story: I began this blog to keep our valued friends updated on vintage occasional sales that I have twice a year with two friends. The name of our hobby/business is Hob Nobbers...hob nobbing all over the countryside searching for treasures for YOU!
Beyond keeping everyone posted about our next sale and vintage finds I also post about my adventures living in a 49 room mansion ( we're Resident Directors and live in the West wing ), and Mondays are "workshop days" where I share posts about "living this life". Right now I'm in the middle of a workshop called, "Live Your Dream Life NOW". For information about that go to my Nov. 26th post. The first workshop was on Jan 7th.
Thanks for stopping by!
UPDATE : GO HERE TO SEE WHAT I'M GIVING AWAY
Not too late to the party - I am just now getting around to some of the participants.
ReplyDeleteA 49-room mansion - wow! I bet that is interesting.

Just to clarify...We don't OWN the mansion so I feel it's OK to kind of "brag" about it. : ) We've had some great adventures here. I'll be sharing more about those on my blog. There are a few photos on my right sidebar.
DeleteYou live such an interesting life...so different from most of us! I love visiting your blog and I'm enjoying the Live Your Dream life workshop! It's amazing! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThere are a few posts about the mansion but I plan on sharing more in future posts. As I mentioned in another "reply" we don't own the mansion. But we HAVE lived here 22 years! A few photos are on the right sidebar...

DeleteJust stopping by to check out your "Grow Your Blog" post and sign up for your giveaway of course. I saw this great party here a couple days ago, ran over to sign up, but I was already too late. I'm thinking about doing something similar over at my blog since there were so many who were interested that weren't able to sign up in time. Can't wait for tomorrow's workshop post!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe there were over 400 signed up for the party! You should go ahead and get another going for sure! : )
DeleteI'm signing up for the give away. I've been enjoying the 'live your dream life' series.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Sharon
You're entered! Happy you're enjoying the "dream life" workshop! : )
DeleteHey, thanks for visiting my corner of the world. I'll be checking in with you from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by also!
DeleteOf course the first thing that popped into my mind when you mentioned the mansion was, is it haunted??? Plus you have so many vintage items are any of them haunted?? :D Thanks for sharing with us the background of your blog, I've never thought to ask why people blog. I love your blog and I'm so glad I found you. :)
ReplyDeleteMany people think it's haunted! There ARE weird noises and the original owner ( more about him later ) died in the house so...But no, our vintage items aren't "haunted". At least that I know of! Guess I didn't know "vintage things" could be haunted. I DO know that in the very large photo of the original owner in the stairwell, his whole head turns and follows you as you go up the stairs! VERY CREEPY!
DeleteI'll be over to check out your give-away! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you at the party!
