SPRING IS IN BLOOM...FOR NOW!

WHERE MAN SEES BUT WITHERED LEAVES, GOD SEES FLOWERS GROWING. ALBERT LAIGHTON

I was just thinking that Spring had finally arrived when I heard our friendly local meteorologist report that we'd be having more SNOW this week... on May 2nd and 3rd!!!! So just in case we're skipping some seasons here and are already moving into another WINTER,  I thought I'd get out and see if I could spot a few little signs of Spring! I DO have some  babys breath and  carnations left over from a baby shower we had so it helps having pretty little bouquets like that around the house INSIDE . But I've been getting rather jealous of all the photos I'm seeing on blogs of Spring popping up while  we were still experiencing WINTER! Finally this week the warm weather came so I trekked around the grounds to scout out some bits of Spring.

                                               INSIDE FLOWERS MAKE ME HAPPY

BUT OUTSIDE FLOWERS MAKE ME CHEER!
They bloom right through winter's dreariness like HOPE shines bright even in the midst of difficult circumstances.

I hope you are experiencing the warmth and hope that Spring brings!

  2. We may be getting snow tomorrow, too! Love your spring flowers! I only have crocus so far. My daffodils are waiting for a few more warm days before they open up!

    1. You must live north of us! I'm afraid with the expected snow tonight, the daffodils won't make it!

  3. It has been snowing all day here in Colorado Springs! A nice wet snow that should help turn things green!

  4. You must just love seeing those little spring blooms here and there, especially before more snow arrives. When we lived in Chicago, I remember we didn't put winter coats away until June!

  5. Won't be long now before you'll be needing an iced tea or lemonade! The way I look at it, I try not to complain about the temps because it is like wishing your life away - and I like COOL weather, so I usually have to remind myself of this advice during Aug-Oct when we are sweltering and everyone else gets Fall! lol

  7. Flowers do us makes smile, don't they? We're supposed to have record low temps in Texas! I never complain though because I hate our brutal summer heat.
