MORE VINTAGE FINDS

A few finds from our recent trips to auctions and estate sales...

Vintage wedding quilt with pretty green background.

Wood goose basket. I might have to keep this for myself. ; ) I get first pick after all...

Vintage lunch bucket with thermos.

Kodac paper cutter.

Lots of antique bells

 Blue willow coffee pot
Vintage box with "Seasons Greetings" on top. We will have a "Christmas Room" with vintage Christmas decor at our Labor Day sale.

Fun vintage clock.

Very cute washstand/commode with original hardware.

Ironstone bowls on stands, with little pour spouts. The bowls are separate from the stands they are on. Not sure what they are for but they are really cute. If someone knows what these are for, please share...

Vintage stoneware crock. And this one was hard for me to give up because I've been collecting blue striped stoneware. Can't keep everything!

Vintage metal milk carton holder. I hadn't seen anything like  this before. You can use it with boxed juices since milk doesn't usually come in cartons now. And yeah, I know this backdrop isn't very nice. Just a piece of dropcloth that's all wrinkled. Maybe I should pay more attention to my photo shoots. Hah! Well, for now just focus on the object for sale. I'll start working on getting pretty photo shoots later.

Large Longaberger baskets. All lined and with plastic inserts. The one in front is a "Christmas 2000" with a lid as well.  Calling all Longaberger-loving friends for these real deals...

Very sweet vintage juice pitcher and 8 matching glasses!

And these are just a few of the things you will find at our Labor Day sale! And don't forget about my...

    1. Thanks! I think that Estate sales and auctions have more unique items but you do end up spending more. I fill in with yard sales and sometimes even things I find on Craigslist.

  3. This is a great blast from the past. I used to carry a lunch box like your green one with a thermos that fit in the lid. I remember chocolate milk, pimiento cheese sandwiches and bananas inside with cookies.
