TEACUP AND COUNTRY STYLE

... Making a cup of tea creates a space for just being.   Nicola Salter

To go along with my "Country Beautiful" style, ( read about it here )  I've taken photos of my lovely cup and saucer here on my teal colored vintage bench, now being used as a little rustic table in my guest room. I love mixing the rustic with the beautiful. So just so tea lovers know that you don't have to be all frills and lace ( not that there is anything wrong with that ) to love tea, I'm showing my teacups with my country/rustic treasures. My photos don't show you the lovely light teal color of the cup, however.

I love tea and I love drinking it in beautiful cups and saucers. But I also love the chippy, well worn, and farm style furnishings. I think the two can easily mix in a pleasing and lovely way, though my photos don't always do it justice. I'm working on that...

My beautiful Aynsley teacup and saucer is a lovely light teal color with delicate flowers all around. I purchased it from a tea cup collector who was giving up her collection as she downsized. I was the happy recipient of this cup and 14 more beautys!

I love the swirls in this cup and the pretty lines of the delicate handle.
The flowers on the inside of the cup are so sweet.

Several of these teacups will be for sale during my online occasional sale during the first week of July. Be sure and watch for them!

Also watch for my FAB FINDS FRIDAY linky party on the first Friday in July. You can share your own FAB FIND, tell us about it, and even offer it for sale, if you so choose. So it can be  like another marketing space for you as well. Each week I will pick someone to receive the "Golden Fleece Award" for the best find of the week! Please pass this information on and share it with others. Information can be found on my FAB FINDS FRIDAY page.

Now I think I'll go pour myself a cuppa tea and sit down and enjoy!  Thanks for stopping by!

I'm joining the party over at Martha's Favorites! Hop on over and join in the tea party fun!

  1. Pretty! I love the teacups. I love tea, too. I like big "beakers" though so I can have a lot!
