FARMHOUSE STYLE

I am really liking the Farmhouse style these days. And while I don't live in an actual Farmhouse, I'm trying to incorporate some elements that give me the "look" I want. I discovered my " current style" by going through some steps that I shared in 5 posts beginning here. Check it out to discover your current individual style. I say "current" because  you may, like me, change your style from time to time.

And because I am liking that style right now, Farmhouse-style "finds" jump out at me more when I'm shopping for our Hob Nobber sales. But don't worry if you're not into "farmhouse style", because I'm collecting all kinds of treasures in all the styles you love. And Renee and Karen ( the other Hob Nobbers) have their individual interests also!

So what does Farmhouse style mean to me? For different people it can mean different things. But for my purposes in finding Farmhouse treasures I look for these kinds of items:

Stoneware, Ironstone and Pottery

Antique wooden tools

Natural elements like Cotton and Lavender

Vintage furniture pieces

Enamelware

Grainsack and all cotton linens

And other interesting and hard to find treasures

Of course that's not all! There are a lot more treasures that could give my home the Farmhouse look I love. Check out my Pinterest Board, "My Style" for more ideas on my Farmhouse Style. You can just click on the red Pinterest button on the right sidebar.

And if this is a style that you love, you can get the look by shopping our Memorial Weekend Hob Nobber sale! Some of the above will be for sale while a few of the items are in my home.

If you are looking for a particular item in this style, let me know and I'll look for it for you!

  1. I love farmhouse style, Sandy. I think it is a tweaking of other styles that I have loved over the years. Blue and white is my favorite decorating combo. xo Laura

  3. yes you have a lovely 'farmhouse' style. I also love farmhouse and vintage but my decorating colors are red and black and yellow but if you look hard enough there are lots of elements that fit right in
