WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.  Will Durant

PLUMMER HOUSE HAPPENINGS: ( See Plummer House page to see what this is about )

So I'm watching, "Dancing With The Stars" on TV and the doorbell rings.

I go to the door and standing there is the chef who is catering the dinner in the "main house". "Would you like some Creme Brulee?" he asks? Well, yes, I would LOVE some Creme Brulee!

He goes to his truck and brings back, not ONE, but FOUR servings of delicious Creme Brulee...to enjoy while watching "Dancing With The Stars"!.... Well, I DID give two to my husband.

Who has a Chef come to their door and offer some Creme Brulee?

I LOVE my life!

Yes, this does happen fairly frequently. It's not always Creme Brulee.

The caterers have become our friends. ; )

They come to serve the folks that have hired them for their party or wedding and they park in our driveway...right by our front door!

Since caterers make more food than is needed for the events, they always have more than enough. So they share with us!

My husband sometimes heads to the trucks that pull up and asks, "What's for dinner?"

...Another little perk in this job as Resident Directors of the Plummer House!

  1. YUM! What a treat for your tv watching. And a big reward for letting the caterers park by your front door. Winner!
