A JULY MOSAIC FOR YOU
I love making mosaics! I love playing with putting colors together and how they look when the same colors are boldly put together in one space.
When we have our Hob Nobber sales we generally set up vignettes arranging the same colors together, sometimes even if the treasures might not "go" together. I think it makes more of an impact and really shows off the treasures simply because of the color impact. We get a lot of nice compliments on the set up of our vignettes. But of course at each new event I try to make it even better.
I used some of my favorite colors for this mosaic and wanted to depict the colors that are in nature ( sky, flowers, ocean ) and how we use them also in the things we make. The objects themselves don't "go" together but the colors are pleasing to the eye. It makes me smile.

Even if the picture of the sea were not included in your mosaic, the colors would make me think of the ocean, my favorite of all places. All those shades of blue are soothing, and I am taking a deep sigh.
